A long way from home

No, not me (at least, not yet), this:


I took this picture last week outside the office. Nessie (for it must, surely, be she) is presumably on holiday from Scotland. I think she must have got lost, though, as this is a dead end on the canal. She's either going to have to swim back the way she came or else just climb out and walk across the Amstelveenseweg.

She was still there last Wednesday. Perhaps she likes it here. Who can tell?
